Museo Verdaguer

The Catalan writer Jacint Verdaguer died in this farmhouse known as Vil·la Joana, in Vallvidrera in 1902. He was invited there by the owner of the house in the hope that he would recover from a long illness, however “Reverend Cinto”, as he was known, spent just 24 days there.

Today the building houses a museum devoted to the man. Rooms occupied by Verdaguer during the last days of his life have been preserved intact including the bedroom, the oratory and the gallery where he rested.
